Every job is different and we will require your plans to cost accurately. There are additional costs to the basic building certification cost to be included in your budget. Our quote will supply the anticipated fees.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It depends on the height and location of the retaining wall. If it is under 1m high (and no loads above it such as a drive way) you will not require a permit (acceptable development). If the retaining wall is close to property lines, utilities, or environmentally sensitive areas, a permit may be necessary regardless of height. Send us your plans and we can provide further advice and costs.
The time it takes to obtain a permit can vary depending on how quickly the relevant paperwork is supplied. Just let us know at the outset if there are time constraints on your project.
