FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We will break down the approval process into stages. The first includes design review and will list the documentation required (note if the design stage is already complete we can still cost and provide a commercial building approval)

We can provide advice on the assessments that will be required to achieve compliance with your designs.

There will be an inspection phase that will outline the inspections required and at what stage of the construction they will take place.

Whilst we work with the design team to mitigate on site changes as much as possible it is an inevitable part of the process. We will require updated plans to be included in the final approval.

Project examples can be viewed on this page and further information is available in our capability statement. We pride ourselves on continuous learning and are always happy to share our experiences.

Infrastructure charges are fees that councils and water utility providers collect as part of the development assessment process. These charges contribute to the capital works of expanding, maintaining or replacing infrastructure. These fees can be considerable and need to be factored into your budget.  We are not able to estimate these charges for you and you will need to contact Council for an estimate of charges.
